Here is how we put together App Reviews, Guides & Tips, and Real Stories, and what we do (and don’t) claim about each.

How We Evaluate App Reviews

Every review is scored consistently across four criteria:

  • Matching quality — how the app’s matching or discovery mechanic works in practice.
  • Safety — verification options, moderation and reporting tools, and how the app handles user safety.
  • Subscription value — what’s free versus paywalled, and whether the paid tier is worth it.
  • App experience — general usability and polish.

Each criterion is scored 0-5, and the overall rating reflects those four scores together.

Where Our Information Comes From

Reviews are researched from publicly available information about each product — app store listings, the company’s own stated features and pricing, published privacy/safety policies, and widely reported user feedback patterns. We do not claim to have created an account and used every app hands-on, and we don’t want to overstate that we have. App features and pricing can change after we publish; always check the app’s own page for current details before making a decision based on our review.

Keeping Content Current

We periodically revisit older reviews to check whether pricing, features, or policies described have changed, and update them when they have. If you spot something outdated, please let us know.

Editorial Independence

We do not accept payment in exchange for a specific rating or ranking. Any sponsored or paid placement is clearly labeled as such. Our goal is to help readers pick the right app for them, not to steer them toward any one product.
